I cannot remember who (guess it was a collegue of mine) said that at the moment, people are going crazy marrying left and right. Lo and behold, today another friend (in the US this time) tells me that he is getting married tomorrow! That makes it the 4th wedding (at least!) this month. Not bad, considering that not too long ago the only wedding I ever went to was my own – ok, not really, but close enough anyways.
However, with the little experience that I have – being married for close to two years now – I can only say “go for it”. I certainly think it was worth it. Hope so do the rest of the married people out there.

Reading this blog section made me lough of course and also it made me feel doing the right thing. In a six week period from early june to july my fiancé and myself were invited to attend 5 marriages. That was pretty close to a wedding overdose. Nonetheless it had pronounced effects. It lead to renting a castle, being willing to spent all the little money we saved and trying to make a dream come true: being the happiest and prettiest couple of all. Ok, that sounds somewhat kitsch but that should be the vision behind the whole thing. hey you mentioned me in your blog…and never told me about it
Now that said, we didn’t have money to rent a castle, ours were a simple wedding on the beach under the pale moon light. Wish we had a castle though.
